At Obakki, we’re committed to delivering your order with care, efficiency, and transparency. We work with reliable global carriers to ensure your pieces arrive safely, whether shipping domestically or internationally.

All packages are shipped from Canada. We ship worldwide using trusted carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Canada Post. Shipping timelines and rates are based on your destination and the selected service, with specific estimates provided at checkout.

For made-to-order items, our team will contact you after your order is placed with a shipping quote and estimated delivery timeline.Please note: shipping times are estimates only and do not include order processing time or potential customs delays.

Free shipping is offered for orders within the contiguous United States over $125 CAD (approximately $90 USD)*.

Flat rate shipping of $15 USD is offered for orders that do not qualify for free shipping.

Express shipping rates and postage times are calculated at check-out based on parcel weight, dimensions, and delivery address. Please note, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes at this time.

If you refuse any shipments from Obakki, you will be responsible for shipping charges, as well as any duties, taxes, and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (for both the outbound and returned shipments). This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

If you live in Vancouver, Canada you can pick up your item directly from our studio (1638 W 3rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 1K2). Please select ‘Local Pick-up’ at check-out and we will follow-up directly once your order is ready for pick-up.

International shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on order weight, volume, and shipping address.

Please note, these costs do not include additional customs or duties, which may be incurred based on the final shipping destination. We are unable to provide rate quotes for customs and/or duty fees as they vary by country and the goods purchased.

Some oversized items aren’t eligible for international shipping. In this case, restrictions will be clearly listed on the product information page.

A tracking number will be provided once your order ships. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update.

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate. We cannot reroute packages once they have been dispatched. We are not responsible for orders lost due to incorrect shipping information.

If your package is delayed, lost, or damaged in transit, please contact us at shop@obakki.com. While we are not responsible for carrier errors, we will do our best to support you in resolving any issues.

Because we aim to process orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once an order has been placed.

Obakki reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion, at any time, for any reason.

We will gladly accept returns/exchanges on all unused items with original tags and packaging within 30 days of the delivery date (excluding sale and ineligible items).

You are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to our Vancouver studio (this includes any cross-border fees). We strongly recommend selecting a tracked service for all returns/exchanges, as Obakki is not responsible for any return/exchange items that are lost or damaged in transit. 

Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

Select items cannot be returned or exchanged, and are final sale. Information can be found on individual product pages under the Shipping + Returns section:

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method and exchanges will be shipped out within 2-3 days of receiving the original item at our studio. Please allow 5-7 business days for the reimbursement to appear on your statement. Obakki reserves the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not comply with the return/exchange policy.

Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

To initiate a return/exchange please email shop@obakki.com or call us at 604.669.9790 / 1.866.410.9701 to speak with our customer service team. Our team will assign a return authorization number for your return/exchange and send the return/exchange information via email. Please note, returns/exchanges will only be accepted within 30 days from order delivery.

At this moment we do not offer price adjustments on past purchases.

It’s important to season your bowl before using it. Using a clean cloth, thoroughly coat the wood with the provided mineral oil and continue to season it every so often as needed. If it appears dull or feels dry to the touch, it needs seasoning. Use warm water and mild soap to wash the surface and never put it in the dishwasher or let it soak (this prevents cracking and warping). Also, keep your bowl out of the microwave. Sanitizing your wooden bowl will help to control bacteria. Simply mix 1 part white vinegar with 5 parts water, wet the bowl thoroughly and leave it for several minutes. Rinse the bowl with warm water and let it air dry.

Jewelry may oxidize and tarnish over time from exposure to the light, moisture, friction and natural body oils. Remove jewelry when showering, doing the dishes and working out. Wipe your piece with a jewelry polishing cloth to remove oils before storing it in a cool, dry area. 

Our ceramics are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash with warm water.

Dry clean or hand wash in cold water. Spot clean with a mild natural soap and cold water.

Orders placed Monday through Friday will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days pending stock levels. Orders placed on weekends and stat holidays will be processed the following business day. You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your parcel has been packed and shipped.

Customized/Made-to-order items will have specified processing information within their product page.

If you are browsing in a currency other than CAD, the prices are set based on the daily market exchange rates. Because these amounts are approximate conversions from CAD and can fluctuate based on the exchange market, they might differ slightly from the total amount captured at check-out.

Taxes are charged based on the shipping address. Canadian orders will be charged provincial tax rates. US and international orders will not be charged sales tax, but may be subject to customs charges and/or duties.
